We’re helping to shape the next generation of Irish sheep farmers through the Flocks of the Future initiative. This competition supports and inspires young farmers under 25, encouraging new talent and ideas to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the sheep sector.
Five winners each received a mini flock consisting of one five-star ram and five breeding hoggets, worth over €2,500. Winners also receive tailored mentoring and support from Irish Country Meats, Teagasc, Bord Bia and Sheep Ireland.
